bow-faire whispered :
"She was busy and I owe her a--favor." Homura replied flatly, seeing no reason to mention anything more than what was necessary. "I was told to keep an eye on you in her absence and that is what I am going to do."

“So she sent over a babysitter. I don’t need one, so scram brat.”

The more she talked the more he grew angry, irritated. She could at least have the decency to send someone he knew not a complete stranger. He was being forced to accept her, that just made him more pissed off. He wasn’t exactly open to strangers much less from someone who wanted to babysit him, and had no concern for how he felt about all this. It was clear that he wouldn’t be able to get to her, so he had to go to the source.

“Where’s Sakura?”  He had an feeling he already knew where she was. A mission, classified, a place where he wouldn’t be able to reach her.

Homura crossed her arms, her brow creasing in thought. “Hn…Haruno-san said you might ask about her location. Unfortunately…” her violet eyes turned up to meet Sasuke’s. She considered telling him—despite what Sakura insisted, she believed he should know. After all, if she had gone away…that person would surely want to know where she went to, and immediately.

As it may be… Her fingers traced over the bright purple broach adorned with gold on the back of her hand. The place where Sakura went…it was probably farther than Sasuke she or could imagine.

Homura closed her eyes and shook her head, her decision made. “I can’t tell you. It’s…not for me to say. But know this, Sasuke Uchiha: Sakura is fine where she is, and she will return when she is ready.”
